MUMENTRY turns personal memories into films. That means you trust us with stories, photographs and voices that matter. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why we process it, and who helps us run the service.
MUMENTRY is a product of Digital Era Link.

1. Who we are
MUMENTRY is a product of Digital Era Link. When this policy says "we", "us" or "our", it means the MUMENTRY service operated by Digital Era Link, which is responsible for the information described here.
2. Information you give us
- Account information — your email address, password credentials handled by our authentication provider, and an optional name.
- Contact information — anything you share when you write to support.
- Stories and answers — the memories, details and text you provide during the guided interview.
- Photographs, videos and other media you upload for your film.
- Project information — occasion, language, preferences and the choices you make while building a film.
3. Information created while making your film
- Generated story text and scene descriptions built from your answers.
- Generated narration and audio.
- Generated cinematic visuals used in your film.
- The rendered film file and its preview versions.
- Payment status records where a purchase applies. Card details are never stored by MUMENTRY.
4. Technical information
When you use MUMENTRY we receive basic technical information such as device and browser details, approximate request information and error reports, together with limited usage signals that tell us which steps of the flow are completed. This helps us keep the service working and diagnose problems.
5. Why we process your information
- To provide the MUMENTRY service and your account library.
- To create your personalised story, narration, cinematic visuals and final film.
- To render and deliver your film to you.
- To answer support requests and send essential service emails, such as password resets and delivery notices.
- To keep the service secure and prevent misuse.
- To improve reliability and quality of the product.
- To meet legal, tax and compliance obligations that apply to us.
We do not use your personal memories, photographs, videos or stories to train AI models.
6. Service providers we rely on
We use a small set of established providers to operate MUMENTRY. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to run the service:
- Supabase — authentication, database and media storage.
- Google Gemini — AI generation of story text and, where used, visual content.
- ElevenLabs — narration and voice generation.
- Resend — transactional email such as password resets and delivery notifications.
- Vercel — hosting of the MUMENTRY application.
- Fly.io — the rendering infrastructure that assembles your film.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers. Where a provider processes data outside your country, that transfer happens as part of delivering the service you requested.
7. Your content stays yours
The photographs, videos, voices and stories you provide belong to your project. They are used to create and deliver the film you asked for. Customer-specific media and personalised cinematic visuals are never placed in MUMENTRY's reusable cinematic library. Only generic, person-free cinematic material created by the platform may become a reusable asset — see our User Content & Intellectual Property Policy.
8. Retention
Your projects and films stay in your library so you can return to them. Some generated files, such as temporary render outputs, are cleaned up automatically after their retention window. If you would like your account and its content deleted, write to support@mumentry.com and we will action it, keeping only what we must for legal or accounting reasons.
9. Security
Access to your library requires authentication, and stored media is protected by access rules on our storage and database. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
10. Your choices and rights
You can access and update your account details, request a copy of your content, or ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, applicable data protection law may give you further rights. Write to support@mumentry.com and we will respond.
11. Children
MUMENTRY is intended for adults. If you include a child's photograph or story in a film, you must have the right to do so from their parent or guardian.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this page as the product develops. The date at the top always shows the latest version.
